The objectives of this study are: 1) To find out the teacher's ability to apply classroom management skills to PPKn learning in class XI C2 of SMK Negeri 1 Kendari, 2) To determine the teacher's ability to apply variations in PPKn learning in class XI C2 SMK Negeri 1 Kendari
The research method used in this study is qualitative descriptive. Qualitative research is descriptive research research, tends to use analysis and emphasize the process of meaning more. Data collection techniques carried out in this study were observation (observation), interviews, and documentation
The results showed that the skills of managing the class were not fully implemented by the teacher, this was in accordance with observations and interviews that only a few points were applied such as structuring cleanliness and beauty of the class, approaching, guiding students, making rules, attending students, giving advice or reprimand, accuracy of attendance, and accuracy in adjusting learning methods to material, while there are also some points that are not applied such as structuring student seating, using media, giving praise, giving sanctions, using varied learning methods, class assignments, and attracting students' attention . Whereas in the skill of conducting variations it has been well implemented to see the components of variation that have been applied by the teacher variations in sound, variations in the timing, variation of contact views, and variations in moving positions.
