CHECK FEASIBILITY ANALYSIS OF PUBLIC TRANSPORT (minibus) KENDARI CITY BASED VEHICLE operational costs (BOK) ROUTE OF CENTRAL CAMPUS NEW UHO ─OLD

Public transport is one of the modes of transportation that connects the region one by another. Kendari city is one of the cities that are building, in need of services are cheap, fast, safe and comfortable. Determining the amount of handling and transport fares require wise policy for menjembatangi interests of passengers as consumers and businesses as public transport operators.
This study aims to explain the Vehicle Operating Costs (VOC) to the determination of a viable State transportation rates imposed by the government to the public in accordance s New Campus UHO - Old City Central with a distance of 13.4 km. This study uses a method based on the provisions of the Department of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia Year 2002 ..
The results of the analysis (BOK) obtained Rp. 2668.44 / passenger-km. where the current rate is for general Rp. 5000 per passenger, the difference of Rp. 2331.56 so that the operator still has a gain of 46.63%. Meanwhile, the applicable rate for students is Rp. 3,000 per passenger by a margin rate of Rp.Rp.331,56 so that the operator has a gain of 11.05%.
