“Traitor” movie is one of movies that indicating how are the markers of solidarity through the aspects of utterances. This study aims to describe the pragmatics of solidarity being realized in “Traitor” movie. This research used descriptive qualitative method because the data were in form of words and utterances rather than the numbers. The sources of this research were the script of the dialogues spoken by the characters in “Traitor” movie and the video of the movie. The result of this research described as follows. First, the researcher found two temporal orientations of speech acts occur in characters’ utterances in “Traitor” movie. They were past-oriented acts of solidarity (1 data) and present-oriented acts of solidarity (3 data). Second, there were ten strategies in positive politeness strategies that occur in characters’ utterances in ‘Traitor” movie. They were divided into two classes including claiming common ground: founded 8 strategies (17 data) and convey that S and H are cooperators: founded 2 strategies (2 data). To sum up, the utterances in particular languages that used by group of people in society it contain a lot of implicit meaning that people were rarely know because it seem common acts that people often doing in their daily life, while from pragmatics of solidarity theory it was different. Finally, this research suggested for some parties. For students of linguistics, suggest that the students learn more about pragmatics especially about pragmatics of solidarity. For future researchers who want to investigate the same study about the pragmatics of solidarity theory it would be better to find five strategies in positive politeness more through other movies that not found in this study in order to investigate the marker of solidarity or find another aspects in Solidarity context, such as applying Solidarity from Sociolinguistics aspect about Power and Solidarity and Linguistic Signals of Power and Solidarity by R.A. Hudson, The Pronouns of Power and Solidarity by Brown and Gilman (1960), and more. For reader in general it was expected that the readers learn more about the aspects of Solidarity in order to know and understand about how are the markers of solidarity in a group of society that indicated by person’s utterances or expressions.
