ABSTRACT
Isolation and identification of secondary metabolites from sponges Callyspongia sp. as well as antibacterial activity of all metabolites have been carried out. The separation of chemical compounds from sponges extract was carried out by vacuum liquid chromatography, radial chromatography and Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) techniques. Two compounds was isolated, analysis of NMR-1D spectroscopic data (1H, 13C-NMR) and comparison of similar data from the literature showed that compounds C1 and C2 isolates was cholesterol and other alkaloid compounds. Antibacterial activity testing uses the microdilution technique. Callyspongia sp. extract not active as an antibacterial against Bacillus subtilis, Salmonella enterica, Streptococcus mutans, Escherichia coli. C1 and C2 isolates showed inhibitory activity in Salmonella enterica bacteria at a minimum inhibitory concentration of 128 and 256 μg / mL.
