This research aims to explain what are the utilization and impact of traditional medicine by utilizing soliti plant (Wrightia arborea) on Muna tribe at Kabangka District. Theories used as an analysis in this research are theories about disease and health care system (ethnomedicine) by Foster Anderson (1986) and theory of decision making by Fabrega (1973). The method used is ethnographic method by using qualitative approach. The data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation techniques with informants related to the utilization of soliti plant as traditional herbal medicine of the Munatribe. Data analysis technique used in this research was descriptive-qualitative analysis. The results of the research showed that soliti plants are used by the Muna community as a traditional medicine to cure various diseases such as cataracts, dirty blood, cough, and stop bleeding for women who have just given birth. Parts of solita plant which are used by the Muna tribe are the leaves, bark and also sap. The impact felt by the Muna community after treatment with herbal soliti is relatively cheaper cost, having less risk of side effects, it can be used as an alternative treatment, and it can be cultivated by the community.
