The availability of minerals and sand needs that are very much causing mining along the coast and until now do not have a mining permit. The purpose of this study was to determine the performance of unlicensed sand mining activities on the coast towards the social environmental conditions of Balo Bone Village, Mawasangka District, Central Buton Regency. The method of determining the sample used the Purposive Sampling method systematically with a population of 233 family heads as respondents. The analytical method used to determine the relationship between the level of performance and the level of expectation is the method of IPA analysis (Importance Performance Analysis). The results showed that in quadrant I the level of performance was below average while the level of expectation was above the average. Attributes referred to in this quadrant include mining contributing to the community to obtain proper health, mining providing welfare programs for workers such as Jamkesmas, and sand mining contributing to the community to obtain proper education.
