The phenomenon of the development of oil palm plantations at present, especially between plasma farmers and the PT. Sultra Prima Lestari is very important to be explored, especially its social relations so that it can be seen how the activities and socio-economic conditions of smallholders working with oil palm plantation companies PT. Sultra Prima Letari.
The main problems in this study are forms of social interaction and factors that influence the form of social interaction between smallholders and oil palm plantation companies PT. Sultra Prima Lestari in Langgikima Village. The benefits of this research are : (1) Academically Provide knowledge of forms of social interaction related to plasma farmers' interactions with the company. (2) practically as an evaluation material to fix the shortcomings of the social interactions that cause conflict between plasma farmers and the company PT. Sultra Prima Lestari.
The location of this research was conducted in Langgikima Sub-District, this type of research was qualitative and quantitative with the technique of collecting data through observation or observation and interviews. From the results of this study it can be seen that there are forms of social interaction that occur between smallholders and oil palm plantation companies PT. Sultra Prima Lestari, some are associative in nature, namely cooperation and accommodation to dissociative ones, namely conflict. The factors that influence can be said to be quite diverse starting from the contract agreement, mutual attachment to each other, motivation to develop.
