This writing aims to find out the application of no-smoking area at the Kendari Regional General Hospital based on Kendari City Regulation No. 16 of 2014 concerning Non-Smoking Areas (NSA) which is an effort to protect and guarantee the right of everyone to breathe clean air in the absence of cigarette smoke.
Kendari City Regional Regulation Number 16 of 2014 concerning Non-Smoking Areas (NSA) regulates the space or quarters that are said to be free of cigarette smoke such as public places, workplaces, places of worship, playgrounds and or gathering places for children, public transportation vehicles, the environment in which teaching and learning, health care facilities and sports infrastructure are designated as Non-Smoking Areas.
The results of the study prove that the Application of Non-Smoking Areas based on Kendari City Regional Regulation Number 16 of 2014 concerning Cigarette Non-Smoking Areas in the Kendari Regional General Hospital, has not gone well so it still needs special attention to deal with it and the factors that influence the Application of Non-Smoking Areas At Kendari Regional General Hospital is a lack of socialization, a level of supervision that is still weak and a lack of awareness of the public to understand the area without cigarettes.
