ABSTRACT
ELSA DAMAYANTI DARLIN (M1A2 14 002). Analisis of Potential of Mata Air Gua a Clean Water Source in Lasunapa Village, Duruka District, Muna Regency (supervised by LAODE SABARUDDIN as Supervisor I and LA ODE MIDI as Supervisor II).
This study aims to determine the potential of cave springs as a source of clean water in Lasunapa Village. This study research was carried out in the Mata Air Gua in Lasunapa Village, Duruka District, Muna Regency. This study held from Maret to July 2018. This study used a method of observation and laboratory analisys. The analisys of the results used in this study is comparative descriptive, meaning that it compares the results of the quantity of existing springs with the number of daily domestic water needs and then analyzes the quality of springs with clean water quality standards according to Health Minister Regulation No.416 of 1990.
The results showed that the cave springs discharge in the dry season was 0,34 m3.s-1 with a total volume of 29.376 m3.d-1 and in the wet season 0,41 m3.s-1 with a total volume of 35.242 m3.d-1. The results of the laboratory analisys show that physical parameters (odor, taste, color, TDS, temperature, turbidity) and chemical parameters (pH, hardness, nitrat, nitric, ammonia, sulfate, iron, manganese, flouride) are still below the quality standard while chloride and the total coliform bacteria has passed the standard of clean water quality standards.
