ABSTRACT
VERA HAMRIANI (M1A2 14 036). Evaluation of the existence of Oe Rawa spring as a source of water supply for the community in Watopute Subdistrict, Muna Regency, under the guidance of AMINUDDIN MANE KANDARI as Supervisor I and KAHIRUN as Supervisor II.
This study aims to 1) determine the condition of the existence of the Oe Rawa spring 2) the potential discharge of the Oe Rawa spring 3) efforts to meet the community's water needs and 4) find out the volume of water needs in Watopute District. This study took place from April to September 2018 using floating methods to measure water discharge and snowball sampling techniques and simple random sampling techniques for people using Oe Rawa springs.
The results showed that the availability of Oe Rawa spring discharge measured in the rainy season was 0.054 m3/second. Fulfillment of community water needs prior to the existence of PDAM, namely utilizing 11 available water sources, after the network of community PDAM uses rainwater and buys water after PDAM network services are disabled, the community uses rainwater and buys water and utilizes springs. Meanwhile, the volume of water needs in Wakadia Village in 2017 is 105.48 m3/person /day, or 0.00122 m3/person/ second. While the volume of water requirements for all Watopute Districts is 767.28 m3/person/day. If it is projected for the next 10 years, the volume of public water needs reaches 873.84 m3/person /day.
