ABSTRACT



Rahman Raofu, Stambuk C1B114069, Thesis title "Shifting Kamomoose Cultural Tradition (search for soul mate) in the Boneoge nomad Society (Study in Boneoge Village, Lakudo District, Central Buton regency)". Supervised by Dr.Muh. Arsyad, M.Si as supervisor Iand Drs. Tanzil, M.Si as second supervised.
The purpose of this study was to determine the shift in the function of Kamomoose cultural tradition equipment (search for soul mates) in Boneoge Village, Lakudo District, Central Buton Regency. To find out the contributing factors. there is a shift in Kamomoose cultural traditions (search for soul mates) in Boneoge Village, Lakudo District, Central Buton Regency.
There search informants consisted of 17 people consisting of 2 traditional leaders, 2 religious leaders, 1 cultivator, 3 teachers, 1 youth leader, 3 students, 2 female students, 3 Boneoge people. Data collection echniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis isusing qualitative descriptive techniques.
The results showed that: 1. The shift in the function of the Kamomoose cultural tradition equipment (search for mate) in Boneoge Village was as follows: a) coins to peanuts. b) custom clothing to traditional / Muslim clothing. c) lightlamps and full moon (14-15) night to candles and electric lights. 2. Factors that cause cultural shift in Boneoge Village are. a) change comes from outside. b) nomads. c) migrants. d) association. e) development of the times.
