THE ANALYSIS OF RISK FACTORS AFFECTING THE FIBROADENOMA BENIGN BREAST TUMOR INCIDENCE IN RSUD KOTA KENDARI

Background: One of the most common forms of tumors experienced by early adult women is a type of benign breast tumor fibroadenoma mammae (FAM). Until now it is unknown what exactly causes the tumors, but there are several risk factors that can affect a person to suffer a benign breast tumors. This study aims to analyze the risk factors associated with the incidence of benign breast tumors in Kendari City Hospital.
Methods: This study was a descriptive observational study using cross-sectional approach, with a total of 117 subjects who were suffering from benign FAM breast tumors. Data were collected through interview that was using questionnaires and data from medical records. The data analysis in this study uses the SPSS application.
Results: Of the 117 respondents there were 112 Menarche respondents at the age of > 12 years, 48 of them had a family history of benign breast tumors, there was a tendency for FAM patients to menarche at age> 12 years with a family history of FAM 41%.
