This research was conducted in Bungin Permai Village, Tinaggea District, South Konawe Regency. This study aims to find out and identify various forms of local cultural wisdom of fishing communities in fishing business in Bungin Permai Village, Tinanggea District, South Konawe district.
This type of research is qualitative research. that is trying to understand and interpret the meaning of an interaction event of human behavior in a particular situation according to the researcher prefective, in other words research is not looking for answers to the question "what" but "why". Data collection techniques were carried out through literature review, observation and in-depth interviews with capture fishermen communities in Bungin Permai Village.
The results of this study indicate that capture fishermen communities in Bungin Permai village have several forms of local cultural wisdom including; trisalu tradition, Tiut uran, Ellau Paleak, Toe, Pamali, which is still used by fishermen in catching various activies.
