The Secret of Moonacre is a fantasy movie that tells about the sacrifice of young girl who struggles to break a curse to bring back a peace in Moonacre Valley. This movie not only brings the issue about environment but also include the element of feminist. This research aims to find out how the movie reflects the relationship of women and nature.This research used qualitative research method. The data are collected through watching the movierepeatedly, pausing every scene related to the problem statements, classifing the data related to ecofeminism theory and the last, noting and arranging the images and all recorded dialoge based on their classification. The data was analyzed by descriptive analysis technique.Through the lens of ecofeminism, this research found that nature and women is described has close relationship. Women and nature become as the victim of the oppression by capitalist anthropocentrism. The capitalist anthropocentrism that is represented by male characters show that men have contributed to environmental damage. On the other hand, women who are portrayed as having closeness to nature through the feminine principle show the role asthe nature savior. The different principle of masculine and feminine make women and men show the difference attitudes in treating nature. The Secret of Moonacree movie has associated with perspective ecofeminism which assesses that the feminine principle is needed to recover and maintain ecology.
