ABSTRACT

Eka Maya Sari Asri, A1A3 06 009, "Moral Development of Children in the Bajo Family in Lapulu Sub-district, Poasia Sub-district, Kendari City, Supervised by H. ArsidikAsuru, as mentor I and Nerlin, as mentor II.
The research aimed to know the implementation of moral coaching of children conducted in the family of Bajo tribe in LapuluSubdistrict of Poasia Sub-district of Kendari City. To know the factors that hinder the implementation of moral development of children in Bajo family in Lapulu sub-district, Poasia Kota Kendari.
The type of this research is descriptive research, using qualitative approach, while the data collection technique used is observation, interview, and document, and respondent is 46 head of Bajo family in Lapulu sub district of Poasia.
The results obtained data that the implementation of moral guidance activities that have been going on in the children of Bajo tribe in LapuluSubdistrictPoasia District consists of the form of physical guidance and non physical coaching. Physical coaching consists of sports activities and skills. As for non-physical development in the form of organizational activities, lectures/religious guidance and motivation to worship. Applications of moral coaching activities have not achieved optimal results, due to various inhibiting factors. Factors inhibiting the development of moral activities in the form of lack of infrastructure facilities supporting activities, lack of funding and lack of mentors.
The concluded of this research is the effort to improve the infrastructure of moral development, and to prepare a sustainable source for the implementation of moral development activities of Bajo children in Lapulusubdistrict, Poasia sub-district, and can be improved.
