vi,54 hal,;28 cm Abstract This research investigates the effect of using flash card on students’ vocabulary achievement at grade eight of MTs Negeri 1 kendari. The 30 items of the research instrument tested onthe class VIII4 that consist of 30 students as sample of the research whose take by using purposive sampling technique.The test was conducted on the pretest and posttest to find out students’ vocabulary achievement at the beginning and at the end of the study. Data were analyzed using paired sample t test analysis. The result of the analysis indicated that there was positive significant effect of flashcard technique on students’ vocabulary achievement at grade eight of MTs Negeri 1 kendari.
