ABSTRACT
This research starts from the problems obtained by researchers through initial observation of data retrieval in institutions engaged in religious organizations that have evolved to relocate the Great Mosque in Kendari so that researchers feel the need for research conducted in Kendari by raising the problem in this research that is how to determine the needs of spatial space that can accommodate all the activities of Muslims in the provincial scale. The purpose of research is to be able to know and tailored to the needs of its use is to pay attention to the needs of existing space, and comfort in every space.
The method of writing the final task used by synthesis analysis by describing matters relating to the subject of discussion through how to describe the data based on literature studies, interviews and field observations associated with this research material. The writing of this final task in the form of Relocation Masjid Raya in Kendari City representative in terms of architectural, where memorable commercial. Recreational that characterizes modern, and in terms of function and intensity that can accommodate all the activities of residents who are held therein and provides supporting facilities and complete building and utility infrastructure complete.
