The formulation of the problem in this research is whether Guided Note Taking (GNT) learning model influences student learning outcomes on Civics subjects in class III SDN 03 Poasia Kendari City. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Guided Note Taking (GNT) learning model on student learning outcomes in Civics subjects in class III SDN 03 Poasia Kendari City,
The type of this researched is quantitative research with a research design that used is quasi-experimental. The plot in this research is experimental class and control class which used for research given pre-test, then continued with treatment that is the application of Guided Note Taking (GNT) learning model to experiment, class, after which experiment class and control class are given post-test. Population in this research is all student of SDN 03 Poasia, with Random Sampling technique obtained class III B as experiment class and class III C as control class. Data collection techniques used in this study is a test technique that is in the form of a test instrument on the material of self-esteem. Data were analyzed by using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis.
Based on the results of the descriptive analysis on the pre-test obtained an average value of 50.65 in the control class while in the experiment class gets an average of 50.00. The result of post-test analysis obtained an average of 65,87 in control class while in experiment class gets value equal to 76,09. In the results of inferential analysis before the hypothesis tested by using t paired sample test prerequisite test is normality. The data used in the normality test and hypothesis test are normalized gain (N-Gain) score. Based on normality test results obtained data pre-test sig. = 0.341, post-test data sig value. = 0,52, because the normally distributed data then do hypothesis test by using t-test by using paired sample test with 95% confidence level. Based on the value of T Count = 31.365> T Table = 2.042 so H0 rejected, which means that the application of Guided Note Taking learning model influences the learning outcomes of Civics on self-esteem material with 95% confidence level.
