<note>MUNARIAH (D1B113012). Identification and characterization of spiders in the oil palm plantation ecosystem of PT. Tani Prima Makmur. Guided by Rahayu M as the supervisor of I and Agung Yuswana as the guide II.

The research was carried out on May - August 2017 at oil palm plantations PT. Tani Prima Makmur district Anggalomoare. The aims is to identify and characterize all the spiders found. Spider sampling is done on the sample tree that is in the canopy of oil palm and weed by direct catching using trap bottles and insect nets. In a research area of one hectare with a total of 136 trees, only 25 trees were randomly selected as spider observation sample trees.  Spider Catching is done directly when the observation is in progress using the hand or using a tool such as a net. Spiders are caught, then collected in 70% alcohol bottle containers, to be identified. The result, found 4 (four) family, consist of Araneidae (spider making nets), Theridiidae (spider webs tangled and many found living with humans), Sicariidae (spider and poisonous spider), Salticidae (spider jogger) and as many as 8 (eight) species of Argiope aurantia, Argiope argentata, Gasteracantha cancriformis, and Cryptachaea porter, Parasteatoda tepidariorum, Latrodectus hesperus, Loxosceles recluse, and Menemerus bivittatus.
