Musdalifa Ahmad (G2P1 16 042).”The Effect of Globalozation towards the Existence of Regional Arts in Kendari Town of Southeast Sulawesi Province” under the Supervisors of Anwar (as the first Supervisor)and I Ketut Suardika (as the second Supervisor). The problems of this research are:(1) What values of globalization that affect the existence of regional arts in Kendari Town of Southeast Sulawesi Province? (2) What are the impact of globalization on the existence of regional arts in Kendari Town of Southeast Sulawesi Province ? (3) How are the governments resoponsibility in elliminating the impact of globalization towards the existence of regional arts in Kendari Town of Southeast Sulawesi Province (4) ow are the Socienty`s responsibility in eliminating the impact of globalization towards the existence of regional arts in Kendari Town of Southeast Sulawesi Province? The objectives of this research are: (1) To study the values of globalization that affect the existence of regional arts in Kendari Town of Southeast Sulawesi Province. (2) To study and analyze the impact of globalization towards the impact of regional arts in Kendari Town of Southeast Sulawesi Province. (3) To analyze and identify the givernment`s responsibility in eliminating the impact of globalization towards regional arts in Kendari Town of Southeast Sulawesi Province. (4) To analyze and identify the responsibility of the society in eliminating the impact of globalization towards regional arts in Kendari Town of southeast Sulawesi Province. This research used Research & Development (RAD) method through descriptive approach because it was described based on the phenomenon and fact/reality of globalozation in marginalizing the existence of regional arts from the life which increasingly complex and varied. The results of this Research showed that globalization gives positive and negative impacts towards the existence of regional arts in Kendari Town so as a rational creature of course it needs the knowledge to consider the good and the bad impact.As well as towards this globalization system,by the Local Genius,it hass been inherited by the values and culture of the nation. The goal is that it can take the benefit from this globalization for the development and the progress io the National Culture, especially for regional arts.
