The problem in this research is How Intercultural Communication In Overseas Student. Informant in this research is Student of Faculty of Law of UMK. The subject of this research is a student of Law Faculty of Muhammadiyah University of Kendari. The technique of sampling in the research is to use purposive sampling technique, that is technique used by choosing informant purposively based on purpose and requirement.
The results of research on inter-ethnic communication analysis show that the form of inter-ethnic communication that has different cultural diversity from each other. This can be seen from the lifestyle, self concept and different belief system among each ethnic. The mechanism of interaction that occurs between students takes place in two ways, namely If within the local student environment then the mechanism of interaction takes place through self-assessment Whereas if in different environments ethnics then the process of interaction mechanism takes place through self-adjustment and self-regulation.
