Asphalt Concrete is a layer of highway construction, consisting of a mixture of hard and graded asphalt and aggregates that are graded continuously, mixed, spread and compacted in a hot state at a certain temperature.
The objectives of this research are: How to characterize marshall testing with kalcule asphalt content of 3%, 5%, 7%, and 9% and to know the preparation of ACBC asphalt mixture using limestone, with the addition of 90% limestone aggregate and bitumen 10% of the fine aggregate.
Based on the results of split aggregate test data analysis, medium and stone ash did not meet the specifications, while at VFA, Stability and Marshall Quotient value, while at VMA, VIM, and Flow values decreased, and at optimum content of asphalt mixture asphalt mixture with asphalt content odds that varied with asphalt content of 5.0%, 5.5%, 6.0%, and 6.5%, causing the value of optimum asphalt content increased by 5.50%, 6.2% and 6.30%, while for 3% asphalt content does not meet the standard.
