xiv, 82 hlm.; 28 cm THE EFFECT OF PERCEPTION OF HEALTH SERVICES TO THE UTILIZATION OF PUBLIC HEALTH CENTER SERVICES AT COASTAL AREA OF KECAMATAN SOROPIA By : ESRA LASGANDA SITORUS ABSTRACT The utilization of health services facilities at public health center by patients represents the quality of health services given by the workers as well as the patients trust to health services management at public health center. One of the factors that affect the utilization of health services is the public perception of health service. This study aims to determine the effect of perception of health services to the utilization of public health center services at coastal area of Kecamatan Soropia. This study methods was using the quantitative and cross-sectional analytic design which was implemented on October until December 2017 in six villages at coastal area of Kecamatan Soropia. Sampling technique was using purposive sampling with total of samples are 62 respondents. The primary datas obtained through the survey based on quesioners. Data analysis was using statistical chi-square test (α = 0,05) with significance level 95%. The result of study shows that the perception of health services that affect the utilization of public health center services at coastal area of Kecamatan Soropia are medical services (p-value = 0.000), nursing services (p-value = 0.016), paramedic services (p-value = 0.002), medical and non-medical facilities (p-value = 0.000), and physical environment (p-value = 0.000). Conclusion of this research was that the perception of medical services, nursing servives, paramedic services, medical and non-medical facilities, and physical environment have the effect to the utilization of public health center services at coastal area of Kecamatan Soropia.
