The problem in this research is how the pattern of parent communication in shaping the behavior of adolescent adolescent adolescent in Lalolara Sub-District of Kambu District Kendari City. This study aims to determine the pattern of parent communication in shaping the religious behavior of adolescents in Lalolara Urban District Kambu Kendari City. This research uses the concept of Communication Pattern of Parents and Children of in Family by Syaiful Bahri Djamarah in 2004.
This research is qualitative descriptive research, the subject of this research are parents who are Moslem and have adolescent children and residing in Kelurahan Lalolara Kecamatan Kambu Kendari City, amounting to 35 head of family, Collecting data of literature study. observation of interviews along with documentation.
The results of the research that obtained shows that: parent communication patterns in shaping adolescent religious behavior apply two patterns of communication that is the pattern of democratic communication and authoritarian communication patterns. The application of democratic and authoritarian communication pattern is a communication pattern that is considered by the religious parents in Lalolara Urban Village as the right communication pattern in shaping youth religious behavior.
